Not much. If you've got these to hand we can usually get you sorted the same day.
A trading businessSole trader, partnership or limited company. We don't do private hire.
A full UK driving licenceFor every driver who'll be using the van.
ID and proof of addressPhoto ID plus a recent utility bill or bank statement.
Your own insuranceFully comprehensive cover in the business's name. We'll send the vehicle details for your insurer.
De-fleet sales
Want to buy rather than rent?
We regularly de-fleet vans from our own rental fleet. They've been serviced on time, looked after properly and come with a full history, because they were ours. Usually 1 to 3 years old, sensible mileage and priced well below a main dealer. Stock changes every month, so if you're after a particular size, tell us and we'll let you know when one's coming off fleet.

The things people ask us
Who can rent a van from BSN (SW)?
Business users only: sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. We're not set up for private hire. If you're starting out and not yet trading, give us a ring and we'll tell you where you stand.
What's included in the monthly rental?
The van, the road tax and the manufacturer's warranty. VAT is spread across the rentals rather than paid up front. Insurance, fuel and driver costs are down to you. We'll spell out exactly what's in and what's out before you sign anything.
How long can I rent for?
Flexible. Short stints, 12 months, longer. Tell us what you need and we'll price it. Longer terms generally mean a lower monthly.
What do I pay up front?
A low initial payment and, on Rent to Buy, an acceptance fee of £189 (including VAT). There's no large deposit. The initial payment depends on the van and the term, and the calculator will give you a feel for it.
Is there a mileage limit?
Mileage is agreed up front and built into your price. If you know you'll do big miles, say so and we'll price it properly rather than catching you out at the end.
Do you deliver?
Yes. Delivery and collection are available across the UK. Local customers are welcome to collect from us in Exeter.
Can I buy the van at the end?
On Rent to Buy, yes. The purchase price is agreed when you start, and there's an option-to-purchase fee of £100 (including VAT) if you decide to keep it. Until then the van stays the property of BSN (SW) Limited.
